Mount Meru Climbing

Overview

Sited in the north of Arusha, Tanzania, Mount Meru is an active but dormant volcano. With a height of 4562 metres it is Tanzania's second-highest mountain and the fourth highest mountain in Africa. Mt. Meru has happened to a well-liked "warm-up" hike for Kilimanjaro climbers. Because at the height of 4562metres, your body will adapt the changes of altitude sickness, your preparation for climbing Kilimanjaro will be much better.

It dominates Arusha National Park with its huge cliffs. On the way of your trek, you are more likely to see giraffes, antelopes, buffalos, and baboons.
