The Tanzanian Safari Foods are varied in color and flavors. The foods prepared by Tanzanians are an exotic mix of western flavour blended with eastern spices, which presents an authentic taste of Tanzania. Ugali is the most staple food Nyamachoma, a popular grilled chicken or beef dish, is served together with typical Tanzanian serving dishes such as Mbaazi Nazi (pigeon peas in a thick, rich coconut sauce), Chapati (a simply grilled flatbread), and Kachumbari (mixed salad). Tanzania Desserts are always fruit-based and flavoured with coconut and honey. The most popular dessert is "Kaimati", served in dough fritters coated in warm honey syrup. It’s just mouth-watering.

Tanzania Safari Foods is high on starch and meat is not eaten widely. The people of mainland consume less spicy foods. The coastal cuisine is spicy and Pilau(wild rice/ mixed rice), Bagia, kabab, Biryani, Kashata(coconut or groundnuts rolls), Sambusa(Samosa) are widely consumed. In drinks, Tanzanians love Chai in the breakfast beverage and coffee (Kahawa) is drunk in the evening.
